Electrical and electronic equipment

Waste electrical and electronic equipment does not belong in general household waste. Batteries or rechargeable batteries that can be removed without damaging the device must generally be removed separately before disposal, where legally required. End users are responsible for deleting personal data from old devices themselves.

The seller's specific take-back and information obligations depend, among other things, on its role as manufacturer, importer, or distributor, as well as on statutory thresholds and the distribution model. The information and return options specific to BLACKOUTBOX will be added before launch.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries

Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. End users must return used batteries to the designated collection and take-back systems. Damaged lithium batteries can pose a fire risk and must be handled with particular care.

Registrations

WEEE/battery registration numbers and, where applicable, manufacturer-responsibility information will only be published here if BLACKOUTBOX is actually subject to registration and the registrations are in place.

Packaging

For shipping and sales packaging, the obligations under German and European packaging law applicable at the time of market launch must be reviewed, including any required registration with the LUCID packaging register and system participation.
