Which emergency kit suits your household?

Four questions first

• How many people need to be supplied?
• For how many days – three, seven or fourteen?
• Should the box contain water and food, or will you put supplies together yourself?
• Are there devices that must keep running during a power outage?

For orientation: Germany’s Federal Office of Civil Protection (BBK) recommends being able to supply yourself for up to ten days; even a three-day supply helps a great deal.

S Basic – equipment without supplies

Basic equipment for lighting, communication, first aid and property protection, including a solar/wind-up radio, power bank, gas stove set and smoke and carbon monoxide alarm. Water and food are not included. For households that want to put their own supplies together.

S Complete – three days for two people

The S Basic equipment plus a first reserve with food and 6 litres of drinking water for two people over three days, organised in two trolleys.

M – seven days for one person

Water (14 litres) and food for one person over seven days, plus energy, lighting, communication, water treatment, cooking, first aid, hygiene, property protection and document organisation in two separate cases.

L – 14 person-days with a power station

For one person over 14 days or two people over seven days. Besides water and food, with an Anker SOLIX C300 power station and 100 W solar panel, extended first aid, and heat, fire and property protection.

XL Household – backup power for the home

For one person over 14 days or two people over seven days, with an Anker SOLIX F3800 including an expansion battery and two 400 W solar panels, a satellite phone and a Starlink kit (subscription separate). Which devices can run and for how long is calculated individually before a quote is made.

XL Medical – for medically relevant power needs

For one person over 14 days or two people over seven days, with an EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra (6,144 Wh) and two 400 W solar panels. Suitability for medical devices is determined only by an individual load, connection and runtime assessment; there is no runtime guarantee.

More people or more days

S Complete, M, L and both XL configurations can be extended to up to six people and 14 days after individual planning. S Basic can be supplemented with water, food, hygiene, medical and personal equipment. Prices are available on request, with personal advice if you wish.
